Hello Everyone, I have not been here for a while I have been sick off and on now i am doing ok. I am working on some blocks called Spinning Star for a swap that need to be mailed out by Aug. 31. I have to only Label it with my Name and name of the Block.

July Doll Quilt Swap

This is a Swap i was in for July a Doll Quilt Swap if going on for the year, I am not joining the August swap i have to many irons in the fire, Plus I have no Dolls..LOL I just wanted to do it. I will be giving the quilts to my Twin nieces, Joniah and Amiah.

I am working on a Drunkard Path for my Daughter, I am going to make it a little bigger than a lap throw.

God Has Kept Me Here For A Reason

My quilting/Sewing To Do List

Well it been a while since I sewed/Quilt lI am going to work on some projects like making a red and White grocery Bag Dispenser The Instructions are (1 sweet charm packtwo 19" x 3 1/2" strips white bella solids20" x 20" piece white bella solids20" x 20" piece warm & natural batting30" of 1/2" wide elastic ribbon &/or rick rack). Then i will work on some Blocks for a swap I have 2 of those and a Doll quilt I will post those when i get started on them. I am working on a embroidery for a Twin Bed it is a Big Peacock in the center and a corner flower border it will be in all Redwork.

I am a adviv coffee Drinker and i was in a swap where someone sent me a pound of coffee i finally opened it and made some well, The coffee do not have a taste to it Now mind you i was thinking about stopping of slowing down this will make you stop. It is hard to try tea in the morning seems like i have to have that cup in the morning. I will try decaf which i don't like, i rather try that than completely stop. I will let you know how i did drinking decaf.

What been happening

All is well on the home front, Drinking my Java as always. Planing another yard sale This Saturday i missed the other one last week, my daughter, mother and Neighbor had it. They did ok. It is time to get back to my sewing been working on some quilts I did some embroidery in the hospital which help pass time away. So until next time, Take the good with the bad and the bitter with the sweet and keep moving on. Doing some Swaps on Swap-bot, it is fun I will post some things soon

What will today bring

I wonder what will today bring i been up since 3;30 am with pains in my legs and can't breath, i fixed me some Java and did some sewing working on some black and white block for a swap. My mother and a close friend suppose to come over today so i have to get ready in which i do not feel like ot since i am not feeling well the time is unknown. Thank you for viewing my blog don't forget to look at the old post. i am working on some family Portriat Redwork for a quilt i am making i am not in a hurry just taking my time, I have a problem of when i start a project i like to hurry and finish it to see how it looks this time i am taking my time so now i have several WIPs. I am starting on my daughter Miriam quilt for her new den the colors are light sage, light marve and cream.it is very pretty. Today is Memorial Day so no one is cooking out just taking it easy today.

Redwork Quilt

I am working on a Redwork quilt of my family, each picture is alternated with the heart. I have about 12 more pictures of different people of my family and about 10 more hearts to do.

My Birthday was May 8 and my family gave me a surprise party, We had a wonderful time as you see i was surprise. They told me we was going to Johnathan's Steak House to eat but i was surprise we made a Detour. My cake had my picture on it and it was delicious.

This Sue Bonnet Lap Quilt is the first quilt i made, It is appliqued on, I enjoyed making it after i seen how easy it was since i already knew how to sew and i did some craft i went on making other different kind of quilts all together i have made 20 quilts some is quilted and some are just tops. I have 5 UFO i need to finish up.

Pin Cushions

Yesterday i went to the Thrift Stores and i found these cups and bowls. This morning i could not sleep so i was up at 3:00 am and i fixed my self a cup of Java (coffee) and made my pin cushions. Inside the jar is novelty buttons, I think the Pin Cushions are so cute. Well, i guess i need to join a Pin Cushion Swap somewhere. i have more cushions to make today it look like rain again, it suppose to rain all this week so i better get busy sewing and crafting. I need to call my sewing buddy and see if we can get together sometime and sew/quilt. Holly (sewing Buddy) taught me how to quilt about a little over 2 years ago, she also have 2 blogs called http://www.fabricmom.blogspot.com/ and http://www.fabricmom.com/ , Holly makes some beautiful quilts, stop by and read her blogs.
